What counts as an affiliate link
Some outbound links to training providers, prep-course publishers and exam-booking platforms are affiliate links. Links to state licensing boards, federal agencies and official candidate handbooks are never affiliate links — those are cited as primary sources.
Why we use them
Running an ad-free research platform costs money: hosting, data collection, and the editorial time needed to read state statutes and candidate handbooks line by line. Affiliate commission is what keeps every roadmap, requirement table and cost breakdown on this site free to read, with no paywall and no email gate.
A provider cannot pay to alter a review, change a ranking, or secure a recommendation. We routinely list providers we earn nothing from when they are the better route for a specific credential.
